The mentoring program has been established to expand the state instructor base and satisfy the ever-growing demand for coaching education. Coaches participating in the Mentoring Program must possess a National Youth License and/or the USSF A or B license.
The Mentoring Program requires coaches to assist the State Directors and/or lead instructor with teaching a youth module or "E" or "D" license course. The State Director and/or lead instructor will evaluate the coach’s performance. Instructor status will be granted or extra training will be given until the coach reaches the required level of competency. The Mentoring Program is an ongoing process for State instructors and also includes attendace and participation at the two STYSA Governing Board Meetings each year.
To be considered for the Mentoring Program, coaches must submit their coaching resume to the State Director for evaluation at firstname.lastname@example.org
