This intermediate level State competition is restricted to South Texas registered Super II and Division II boys and girls teams in the Under 11 through Under 19 age groups. The South Texas Director’s Cup provides teams quality competition and offers State level advancement during a period of the year when other sports may decrease the number of teams playing soccer.

Even the rain that caused the Saturday games to have to be re-scheduled to Sunday could not dampen the excitement and determination of the players on the 64 teams that traveled to Houston’s Meyer Park to compete in the 2010 STYSA Director’s Cup Championships.
