Five South Texas Teams Win 2011 US Youth Soccer Region III Presidents Cup Championships
South Texas sent eleven teams to the US Youth Soccer Region III President’s Cup Championships in Decatur, Alabama and five came away with the title of Champion.
The BU15 Houston Express 96B Navy and the GU17 AHFC 94G Blue both reached the finals before falling in tough games to Miami Beach Soccer (FLA) 1-0 and BYSA Galaxy 94 Gold (GA) 3-2 respectfully.
The El Paso Cobras 98 Red boys are the US Youth Soccer Region III President’s Cup Champions in the U13 age bracket.
The BU14 South Belt Select 96/97 Club Mexico, GU14 LAFC Houstonians 97G, GU15 Texas Rush Nike 96/96, and GU16 AHFC 94G Blue each won the Region III President’s Cup Championship in their respective age groups and advance on to the US Youth Soccer President’s Cup National Championships July 7-10 in Des Moines, Iowa.
