2013 PRESIDENTS CUP

A US Youth Soccer National Competition		  

The South Texas Presidents Cup is an open entry competition that is strongly recommended for Super II and lower level Division I teams.  Lower level Division I teams are typically defined as teams finishing in the lower half of the standings of the Division I league in which they played in during the Fall 2012 season.  The competition is open to Under-13 (U13) through Under-19 (U19) boys and girls teams from the Fall 2012 seaon, and will play 11v11.  The U18 and U19 teams will play in a combined age bracket, designated U19.  South Texas Presidents Cup state champions in the U13-U17 age groups will represent South Texas at the US Youth Soccer Region III Presidents Cup, with possible advancement to the National finals.  The entry fee for the 2013 Presidents Cup is $825/team.

CONGRATULATIONS to South Texas teams who won the 2013 Presidents Cup Region III tournament.  They will represent Region III and South Texas at the National Presidents Cup Finals in Auburndale, FL, July 11-14, 2013.  Good Luck!

2013 GENERAL TIMELINE
 

January 2, 2012: Presidents Cup Registration Opens

Februrary 7, 2013: Presidents Cup Entry and Payment Deadline (Registration is now closed)

February 23/24: Challenge Match Date for those teams challenging into State Cup - the State Office will be in contact with challenging teams after the Cup Registration Deadline of Feb. 7.

March 2/3: Challenge Match Date for those teams challenging into State Cup - the State Office will be in contact with challenging teams after the Cup Registration Deadline of Feb. 7.

March 8, 2013: Presidents Cup District (Group Play) Schedules Published

March 11, 2013: Roster Freeze Date - No changes are allowed to rosters after this date. Teams may only consist of officially rostered players. Use of the Club Pass system is prohibited during the District stage of Presidents Cup. Club Passes will be allowed at the Presidents Cup State Tournament in accordance with the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series rules.

March 23-24, 2013: District Play Begins (For U13-U14 age groups)

April 6-7, 2013: District Play Begins (For U15-U19 age groups)

May 18-19, 2013: Presidents Cup State Finals Weekend - Location: Meyer Park (7700 Cypresswood Drive, Spring, TX 77379)

June 6-9, 2013: Region III Presidents Cup (for South Texas Presidents Cup Champions in the U13-U17 age groups) - Location: Decatur, AL

July 10-14, 2013: National Presidents Cup (for Region III Champions U13-U17) - Location: Auburndale, FL
