STYSA State Classic League Qualifier Format and Schedules

The format for the U13 Qualifying games are a 12 team round robin.

The format for the U14 - U16 Qualifying games will be a four team round robin - two from East and two from the West.  The top two point’s finishers will advance to the STYSA State Classic League regardless of which district they are from.  The U14 - U16 SCL Qualifying matches will be held Sunday February 26, 2012 for East vs. East and West vs. West.  The remaining cross district games will be held in Austin, TX at NEMP March 3 - 4, 2012 with one game Saturday afternoon and one game Sunday Morning as the West hosts this year.

State Classic League Launched In Fall 2009

 

With the launch of the South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) State Classic League (SCL) in Fall 2009,  SCL creates a new competitive league designed to give the top teams in the U14 through U17 age groups the highest possible level of competition. The State Classic League is owned and operated by STYSA.  Participation in the SCL is governed by the rules adopted by the United States Soccer Federation (US Soccer), US Youth Soccer (USYS), Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) and South Texas Youth Soccer Association (STYSA) rules except where modified.
