Club Toolkit

This toolkit is a collection of documents, articles and information designed to provide individuals and programs with the resources necessary for building and managing a soccer program in South Texas. Through our mission and programming, South Texas Youth Soccer seeks to promote organized player opportunities at all levels for a diverse membership across our Association. To assist both our current and future members we have created this resource, the Club Toolkit, and we invite you to implement one or more of these ideas if any are missing from the structure of your organization.

We recognize that healthy clubs need to manage a wide range of functions and without good programs many players and coaches may leave or perhaps never consider even playing the sport. Clubs have the tremendous responsibility to create the best possible environment for their players, parents, officials and coaches. Some of these tasks may include handling money, hiring or firing personnel, understanding how to file taxes, and ensuring that practices and games are carried out with safe fields and appropriately- registered players and coaches. We realize that this can be a daunting endeavor and have put together this information to help you be successful. Below are links to several websites and documents that will assist with your club’s administration and help you meet the challenges of starting and/or operating a successful club in South Texas.
