STYSA INDOOR GUIDELINES

 

15.0. PLAYING FACILITY
Playing facilities may apply for affiliation with South Texas Youth Soccer Association by submitting the following to the STYSA Executive Committee for approval: Playing Facility Application for Affiliation, a copy of the League Schedules, and Rules of Play. Applications will not be considered for approval without these items.

15.1. REGISTRATION
All registration shall be in compliance with the STYSA rules and the procedures set forth in the STYSA Registrars Handbook.

15.1.1. Youth Registration - Only registered indoor players shall be permitted to play in sanctioned competitions. A facility which allows the use of unregistered indoor players shall be subject to forfeiture of its facility sanctioning.
Each player shall register by paying the appropriate fees and shall register on the required indoor form(s) and obtain a STYSA indoor ID card.

15.1.2. Adult Registration - One coach per team must be registered with each team. Each coach shall register by paying the appropriate fees (if any) and shall register on the required indoor form(s) and obtain a STYSA indoor ID card.

15.1.3. Registration Deadline - All registration forms, along with a STYSA Goal Post Inspection Form, must be turned in to the STYSA State Office by the end of the third week of each playing session. If turned in late, a penalty of $100.00 per week will be assessed, beginning the day after the deadline.
(End of the week is defined as 5:00 p.m. Friday.)

15.2. RULES OF PLAY
All sanctioned indoor play shall be played in accordance with the MISL Official Indoor Soccer Laws (OISL - current edition).

15.3. MISCONDUCT
All sanctioned play is subject to STYSA Discipline, Protest and Grievance Procedures as state in the current edition of the STYSA Administrative Handbook.
