South Texas Directors Cup is the third highest level of competition in the South Texas Spring Cups Series. Directors Cup is a restricted-entry competition for 11U through 19U teams that participated in Super II level leagues or lower Member Association Leagues. South Texas reserves the right to place teams in a different competition, dependent on their seasonal league results.

2026 DIRECTORS CUP GENERAL INFORMATION

Age Groups: 11U-18/19U Boys | 11U-18/19U Girls Teams
Level of Play: Super II League Level Teams (and lower)
Event Format: Two-stage tournament where accepted STX Youth Soccer teams will compete in a district playoffs throughout April. Scheduled like league play over multiple weekends, typically, district playoff finalists from each competing age group advance to State Finals. Age Groups are scheduled within each district as one level of play to advance the top two teams per age group to State Finals.
Please note: there is not gold/silver, red/blue, etc. bracketing style utilized within Directors Cup. State Finals is held over a single weekend at a pre-determined location.

DISTRICT PLAYOFFS SCHEDULE & LOCATIONS
Teams should plan to be scheduled for at least one match across each listed event weekend as necessary to complete bracket play. Schedule requests will NOT be accepted. Spring Cup District Playoff Format Standards

HOTELS
Booking Deadline: Tuesday, May 5, 2026
Any rooms/room blocks booked in advance for a team that doesn’t qualify for State Finals must cancel their room by midnight on the listed deadline or subject to a charge of a $25 penalty per room.
STATE FINALS FORMAT
Teams will play round-robin within their age group, typically two games Saturday and one game Sunday (pending field availability and inclement weather).
Schedule requests will NOT be accepted.
Award ceremonies to take place following the final match for each age group for both the Champion and Finalist teams.
