Welcome to South Texas!
How do I get my child involved in youth soccer?
The South Texas Youth Soccer State Office does not directly register players or teams, rather this is be done locally in the area you reside in, through one of our approved Member Associations. Registering through one of our Associations (below) is registering with South Texas Youth Soccer & US Youth Soccer.
Each Member Association may have their own registration requirements for teams or clubs, but they are the best resource to help sign up your players in South Texas!

MEMBER ASSOCIATIONS
Through our 29 Member Associations, South Texas Youth Soccer represents more than 225 clubs and 100,000 members across our region, from El Paso to Beaumont and Temple to Brownsville.
South Texas Member Associations offer a variety of programs through local clubs and teams for youth players 4U through 19U.

AS A PLAYER
Parents register their prospective players directly with one of our affiliate Member Associations and Clubs. In some cases, there may be only one Association or Club in the area in which you live, however, in larger cities, you will find multiple clubs to choose from based on your location.
Your Member Association can help direct your to the club(s) closest to you, your preferences or based on preferred level.
Steps for player Registration
- Find the area or general area of South Texas in the map above
- Sorted by District
- West: El Paso / Austin / San Antonio / Corpus Christi / Rio Grande Valley Areas
- East: College Station / Greater Houston Region
- Sorted by District
- Select the Member Association that operates closes to your community and use their website or information to contact local soccer clubs regarding new player registrations or tryouts to begin play!
- Fall Leagues Seasonal Play Times: August – December
- Spring Leagues Typical Play Times: February – May
- If there are no clubs found in your area, you will need to contact the Member Association to directly to register with their league.

Each Club may have a website that might best detail their playing philosophy, fees and or types of player programs (recreational/competitive) they currently provide.
AS A TEAM OR CLUB

Teams and clubs would still need to be registered through one of our Member Associations to be considered a South Texas Youth Soccer & US Youth Soccer registered team.
