The Fall Championships are a two-stage end of season tournament for Division II and Division III teams from South Texas. Teams from STX Soccer Member Associations’ Fall Leagues compete in a District Playoff tournament. Winners (Division II teams only) advance and compete in the State Finals tournament. Team eligibility for Fall Championships is based on the allocations given to each Member Association as well as each team’s performance in their respective Fall League play.

ELIGIBLE TEAMS
Allocations are accepted or declined by each requesting STX Youth Soccer Member Association with a current seasonal year (2025-26) Division II or Division III league. Teams interested in competing in Fall Championships must communicate with their respective league association contact(s) regarding allocations.
- Division II | 11U – 19U Boys and Girls Teams
- Division III |11U – 14U Boys and Girls Teams
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT: Players must be rostered to the team they are playing with on or before November 1st, 2025, and must have participated as a primary player in at least two (2) league games with that team.

2025 FALL CHAMPIONSHIPS STATE FINALS INFORMATION
After careful consideration and review of current conditions, the STYSA Executive Committee and Competitions Department are announcing an official decision regarding the 2025 South Texas Fall Championships:
The event will conclude at the District Playoff round, and there will be no advancement to State Finals this year.
This decision follows the postponement of the Eastern District Division II event, where fields received over 4 inches of rain during the week leading into the event weekend, rendering them unplayable. Due to the Division II tournament’s two-stage structure and the absence of any viable option to reschedule State Finals, continuing to the State Finals is not feasible.
While the originally listed dates of December 20–21, 2025 were reviewed as a potential reschedule option, the proximity to the holiday season presents significant challenges to team participation, making this solution impractical for the integrity of the event.
REFUND INFORMATION
Refund details will also be communicated directly to member associations as event fees are remitted to the member associations.
- Auto-advancing & El Paso teams – associations will receive a full refund or credit of paid event fees.
- For all other Division 2 teams – associations will receive a partial refund or credit of paid event fees based on event expenses.
We understand the disappointment this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we prioritize player safety and fairness across all districts.
